Job Posting Policy

The Arizona Municipal Clerks’ Association (AMCA) will do courtesy posting on the AMCA website free of charge for openings in Municipal Clerk Departments within the state of Arizona and Region 8 of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.  Additional job postings will be posted on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Webmaster (League of Arizona Cities and Towns) and/or the AMCA Executive Board.   The webmaster will remove the postings as follows, whichever one occurs first:

  • One day after the closing date
  • After 30 days if there is no closing date
  • When the entity advises that the position has been filled

Process

  1.       A city or town within the State of Arizona or in Region VIII of the IIMC, may request job announcements be posted on the Arizona Municipal Clerks’ Association website.
  2.       Job announcements should be limited to those within the Municipal Clerk’s office/department.
              a. Any exception to this will be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Executive Board.
  3.       There is no fee. 
  4.       Any job announcement shall be in pdf format.
  5.       The job announcement shall be sent via email to AMCAInfo@azleague.org.
  6.       The League Webmaster will post the pdf on the Job Announcements – Career Opportunities page on azclerks.org.
  7.       The League Webmaster will remove the posting based on the following criteria:
             a. One day after the closing date.
             b. After 30 days, if there is no closing date.
             c. When the entity advises that the position has been filled.
